Evergreen City Ballet requests a Tier 1 Temporary Use Permit to place two murals using detachable panels installed over the existing building windows. The first mural will face Bronson Avenue and will be 42 feet long by 7.5 feet tall (42'x7.5'). The second mural face the alley abutting the east side of the building and will be 15 feet long by 7.5 feet tall (15'x7.5'). The murals will depict artwork by Renee Hazen and feature silhouettes of ballerinas in a variety of poses with the slogan "Dance is for all". The silhouettes will feature male and female dancers, children, a variety of hair styles and body types to represent the diversity of the Renton dance community. The work has received an award of $5,300.00 from the Renton Municipal Arts Commission.
