HomeMy WebLinkAboutCM_Construction_Mitigation_Description_221010_v1CONSTRUCTION MITIGATION DESCRIPTION SE Petrovitsky Rd and Benson Dr S, Renton, WA 98055 The project is a new ground-up development of a convenience store/gas station and bank branch. I. Proposed construction dates: Owner is constructing the convenience store/gas station and building a pad and parking lot for the bank branch. Demolition of the existing buildings and owner’s construction is estimated to begin in the fourth quarter of 2023 and is estimated to be completed in the second quarter of 2024. II. Hours and days of operation: Construction activities shall occur between the hours of 7:00am and 8:00pm, Monday through Friday. Construction activities on Saturdays shall be restricted to the hours between 9:00am and 8:00pm. No work will be conducted on Sundays. III. Proposed hauling/transportation routes: Deliveries and hauling will enter and exit through the primary construction entrance. IV. Measures to be implemented to minimize dust, traffic and transportation impacts, erosion, mud, noise, and other noxious characteristics: To minimize dust, we will utilize water at the site on an as-needed basis. A Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (TESC) per City of Renton standards will be in-place until on-site construction operations have concluded, and the site is fully stabilized. A Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) will be prepared for the development of the site and will be approved by local and state jurisdictions. Erosion Control Plans will be developed with the site development plans and submitted to the city for compliance and approval. The site will implement a construction entrance, silt fencing and inlet protection. Deliveries will be made during typical hours of operation to reduce noise impacts. V. Any special hours proposed for construction or hauling (i.e. weekends, late nights): There will be no special hours for construction or hauling, at this time. VI. Preliminary traffic control plan: As part of traffic control, construction entrances will be marked accordingly. Flaggers and traffic control personnel will be onsite as needed during construction, and more specifically during completion of the city-required frontage improvements.
