It is the responsibility of the prospective bidders to note the contents of this addendum and notify the Owner that this addendum has been received. Acknowledge receipt by inserting the number of this addendum in the space provided on the Bid Proposal Form. The following changes in the contract documents constitute this addendum. All changes by addenda are to be included in the proposal form and the contents of the addenda become a part of the Contract Documents for this project. PRE-BID CONFERENCE: 1:00 PM. January 11, 2023. Meet in Renton City Hall Lobby. Attendees will be escorted to the 7th floor. Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. The City’s fair practices/non-discrimination policies and the State of Washington prevailing wage rates are applicable for this public works project located in King County. Bidders are responsible to verify and use the most recent prevailing wage rates. The “Effective Date” for this project is the Bid Form due date above. The applicable prevailing wage rates may be found on the Department of Labor & Industries website located at https://lni.wa.gov/licensing‐permits/public‐works‐projects/prevailing‐wage‐rates/. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the bid must accompany each bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in bids received. The City’s Fair Practices and Non-Discrimination policies and State Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this project. Mandatory 15% apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of the construction contract. Voluntary workforce diversity goals for this apprentice participation are identified in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders may contact the Department of Labor & Industries, Apprenticeship Section, to obtain information on available apprenticeship programs.
