1. Call To Order:
Chair Camila Lagow called the meeting to order at 4:26 p.m.
2. Announcements:
None.
3. Approval Of Minutes:
Moved by Louis Trujillo and Seconded by Kathleen Booher to approve the November 22, 2022, Regular meeting
minutes. Motion Carried.
4. Public Comment:
None
5. Unfinished Business:
None
6. New Business:
A. Election of Vice Chair
Camila submitted a nomination for Louis to become the Chair of the Commission for 2023, and Kathleen
the Vice Chair. Both accepted the nomination. Motion Carried.
B. New Commissioners
Ellen Bradley-Mak reported that the Mayor has made two appointments to the Civil Service
Commission, to fill the 2 existing vacancies. Both appointments will begin their service at the January
meeting and both have expressed their strong interest in serving the Renton community. Chair Lagow
asked for staff to invite the new Commissioners to the annual Civil Service Conference hosted each fall
by Public Safety Testing. Commissioners concurred that this was a valuable training opportunity.
C. Entry Police Officer Eligibility List* and Examination Report**
Moved by Camila Lagow and seconded by Louis Trujillo to approve the Entry Police Officer Eligibility List.
Motion Carried.
D. Administrative Assistant in the Police Department Eligibility List* and Examination Report**
CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
Moved by Louis Trujillo, seconded by Kathleen Booher to approve the Administrative Assistant in the
Police Department Eligibility List. Motion Carried.
7. Other Business/Comments

A. Next Civil Service Commission Meeting will be January 24, 2023 at 4:15pm.
