A. TIME OF DAY CONTROL- MIST EFFECTS PUMP FM-P1 OPERATES 9 AM TO 10 PM (ADJUSTABLE) SEVEN DAYS PER WEEK EXCEPT DURING FREEZING WEATHER,
WHEN SYSTEM IS OFF AND WATER IS EVACUATED FROM ALL PIPING.
B. TIME OF DAY CONTROL- MIST EFFECTS ILLUMINATION OPERATES DUSK TO 10 PM (ADJUSTABLE) SEVEN DAYS PER WEEK EXCEPT DURING FREEZING WEATHER,
WHEN SYSTEM IS OFF AND WATER IS EVACUATED FROM ALL PIPING.
C. ZONE VALVE SEQUENCING - MIST EFFECTS CONTROL SYSTEM TO OPERATE TWO ZONE VALVES FOR FOUR MODES: 2 ZONES ON, 1 ZONE ON ONE ZONE OFF,
OPPOSITE ZONE ON, OPPOSITE ZONE OFF, 2 ZONES OFF, EACH MODE TO TO RUN FOR 3 MINUTES (ADJUSTABLE).
D. WIND SPEED CONTROL - IN TIMES OF HIGHER WIND SYSTEM IS DISABLED BY WIND SPEED CONTROL. TEST AND ADJUST SYSTEM TO CONFIRM MIST WILL NOT
DRIFT AND WET AREA OUTSIDE BOUNDARY OF MIST FEATURE.
WINTERIZING PROCEDURE:
A. ENSURE ALL POWER IS OFF TO CONTROLS AND PUMP. LOCK OUT AND TAG BREAKERS.
B. VALVE OFF CITY WATER SUPPLY PIPING TO MIST SYSTEM LOCATED IN MECHANICAL ROOM.
C. OPEN ALL WINTER DRAIN VALVES AT LOW POINTS OF PIPING SYSTEM WITHIN PUMP ROOM.
D. OPEN DRAIN VALVES (2 TOTAL) AT LOW POINT OF HIGH PRESSURE PIPING WITHIN SERVICE VALVE BOX.
E. REMOVE ANTI-VANDAL FASTENERS AT ILLUMINATED MIST MODULE GRATING, REMOVE GRATE AND LIGHT UNIT FOR ALL UNITS, OPEN HIGH PRESSURE DRAIN
VALVES WITHIN WITH EACH ILLUMINATED MIST MODULE.
F. OPERATE DRAINAGE SYSTEM DIVERTER VALVE TO STORM
G. ENSURE SYSTEM PIPING IS DRAINED COMPLETELY OF WATER. WATER STANDING WITHIN PIPING PUTS PIPING AT RISK OF FAILURE.
SPRING START UP PROCEDURE:
A. ENABLE POWER TO CONTROL AND PUMPS.
B. CHARGE CITY WATER SUPPLY PIPING TO MIST SYSTEM LOCATED IN MECHANICAL ROOM.
C. CLOSE ALL WINTER DRAIN VALVES AT LOW POINTS OF PIPING SYSTEM WITHIN PUMP ROOM.
D. CLOSE DRAIN VALVES (2 TOTAL) AT LOW POINT OF HIGH PRESSURE PILING WITH SERVICE VALVE BOX.
E. OPERATE DRAINAGE SYSTEM DIVERTER VALVE TO SANITARY.
F. REMOVE ANTI-VANDAL FASTENERS AT ILLUMINATED MIST MODULE GRATING, REMOVE GRATE AND LIGHT UNIT FOR ALL UNITS, CLOSE SEVEN HIGH PRESSURE
DRAIN VALVES.
G. OPERATE HIGH PRESSURE PUMP SYSTEM TO FLUSH WATER THROUGH HIGH PRESSURE PIPING AND ILLUMINATED MODULES. OPEN ONE MODULE DRAIN VALVE
AT A TIME TO FLUSH COMPLETE SYSTEM.
H. ON COMPLETION OF FLUSHING, CLOSE DRAIN VALVE, INSERT LIGHT UNIT AND SECURE MODULE GRATING.
