CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order 9:34AM
Members Present: Anita Dull, Shirley Haddock, Julie Horan, Sandra Polley, Christine Gray -
Scott, Ron Erb, Marge Cochran-Reep, Elaine Seay-Davis, Siona Cochran, Faye Williams,
Brigid Caballon, Kate Cook
Members Absent: Jack Wardell, Beatrice Budziu: Excused absences
City Staff Present: Carrie Nass, Recreation Division Director; Jennifer Spencer, Recreation
Manager; Sean Claggett, Recreation Supervisor; Victoria Kvitek, Age Friendly Renton Action
Plan; Elane Rosok, Recreation Assistant
1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion to approve the December 61h 2022, minutes by Shirley Haddock, seconded by Anita
Dull, in addition to correct the spelling of board member names. All in favor, motion
carried.
2. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS
A) Presentation — Carrie and Victoria Age Friendly Renton Action Plan survey
a. Results and questions regarding the Renton Age Friendly Survey
1. What are the resources seniors would like more information of
2. VSHSL Funding for upgrades to buildings and to add additional staff
3. Victoria Kvitek will continue to work with us as a contracted employee
B) Program updates — Sean Claggett
a. Increasing attendance for programs in the Senior Center; programming for
Spring/Summer is well underway with added programs and courses
