1. CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 9:30am

Members Present: Shirley Haddock, Ron Erb, Jack Wardell, Beatrice Budziu, Faye Williams,
Kate Cooke, Brigid Cabellon, Siona Cochran, Elaine Seay-Davis, Christine Gray -Scott
Members Absent: Marge Cochran-Reep, Anita Dull, Sandra Polley, Julie Horan
City Staff Present: Sean Claggett, Recreation Supervisor; Amy Eng, VSHSL Adult Outreach
Consultant; Elane Rosok, Recreation Assistant; Donna Eken, Recreation Coordinator; Carrie
Nass, Recreation Director; Jennifer Spencer, Recreation Manager
Guests Present: None

Jack Wardell, seconded by Shirley Haddock to approve October 2022 minutes
3. AGENDA ITEMS
• Introduction of new board members
• Vote taken on limiting meetings to in person or offer hybrid. Motion to
move to continue Hybrid meetings, motion moved by Jack Wardell and
Shirley Haddock seconded
• Vote taken for limiting remote attendance to 3 times per year, motion
moved by Jack Wardell and Shirley Haddock seconded
• A vote taken for renaming leadership positions to Chairperson and Co -
Chair, lack Wardell moved and Elaine Seay-Davis seconded

• A vote for rotating chair positions open to board members according to
board position number every 6 months, with the option to decline. Jack
Wardell moved and Ron Erb seconded
STAFF UPDATES
a. Donna Eken — programming updates
New art classes are very popular and more to come for the new year
b. Amy Eng — VSHSL Grant
She is available for all resource inquiries
c. Carrie Nass — Overview of future VSHSL opportunities and the breakdown of Ikuda
fund use for the park expansion
