Dear Jill Ding:
The King County Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) has received the Determination of
Non-Significance (DNS) for the Cedar River Levee Recertification, 211 Burnett Ave N & 703 N
1st St, project (PR23- 000055, LUA23-000078, 000078, ECF, CAE, SME) that proposes
Environmental (SEPA) Review, a Shoreline Exemption, and a Critical Areas Exemption for
recertification of the levee along the Cedar River.
King County faculties, the Boeing Renton Truck Sewer is located on the South shore of the
Cedar River between Logan Ave S and Burnett Ave S and the ESI Section 1 Sewer runs in
Burnette Ave N crossing the Cedar River and continues in Burnett Ave S. (See enclosed
record drawing showing the location of the facility in the project vicinity).
In order to protect this wastewater facility during construction, WTD requires that City of
Renton submit construction drawings for the project, so that WTD can assess its potential
impacts. Please send drawings to:

Please contact the Local Public Agency Program a minimum of 72 hours prior to
commencing any construction to allow time for staff to arrange for a King County Inspector to
be present during construction.
King County has a permanent easement for a sewer line on the proposed development site,
and must be assured the right to maintain and repair the sewer line. In the event that the line
must be relocated, a new permanent easement must be provided. Please contact King County
