I. Electrical/Communication
a. Light post installation
b. Communication conduits/pull boxes - Per details 2/E2.0 and 4/E2.0 there should
be a junction box at every light pole. There are also some separate boxes for
conduit runs labeled as "future camera" within the park, but they don't occur at
every light pole location. Sheets E1.1, E1.2, and E1.3 indicate the "future comm"
and "future camera" conduit routing and box locations.
c. Place PK nail into concrete curb at sleeve locations.
J. Pavilion/Parent Plaza
a. Structure erection – work in-progress to complete metal roofing and trim work.
K. Portland Loo
L. PSE – Primary Electrical Service – Coordination of electrical installation, with TDI and PSE
ASAP. PSE scheduled for work on April 7th.
M. BP Gas Line – TDI to provide narrative to BP Gas Line regarding replacing storm drainage
line across existing gas lines, at same elevation.
5. Review of scheduled work:
A. Union Ave. Streetscape – HIGH PRIORITY Schedule
retaining wall finish, concrete sidewalk placement and crosswalks
1. Union Avenue Crosswalk at Honeydew Elem. – Rescheduled with weather
permitting – potential schedule at Spring break Apr 10 – 14. B. North end sidewalk, pending PSE electrical primary service – schedule as soon as
possible with PSE. TDI to coordinate schedule with PSE. PSE work scheduled for April 7,
2023.
a. Landscape planting and irrigation – in-progress.
C. Decorative Fence and Mow Strip – pending completion at center entrance, north and
south ends.
D. Storm Drainage Revisions – storm drainage connection to neighborhood drainage to
park storm drainage system. Change Order #3 issued to TDI for work for storm water
revision. Schedule for work to start wk of Mar 20. TDI coordinating with BP Gas Line of
storm drainage line crossing BP gas lines. TDI to send narrative to BP regarding scope of
work.
E. Utilities –
a. Coordination with PSE on providing new primary electrical service. Work to
commence as soon as possible and coordinated with Terra Dynamics, Inc. Work scheduled for April 7, 2023.
b. Hot Box cover over the water service vault. Box received and preparation of site
being prepared. Concrete pad to be finished elevation at height of adjacent mow
strip at fence.
c. Water standpipe – painted blue
d. Power for Park Signage – coordination with site electrical. TDI to contact COR/PPNR to
coordinate signage location.
e. Coordination and location of communication pull boxes and conduit with electrical
pull boxes and conduits?
F. Walks – layout & placement of curbs – TDI coordinating with Caliber Concrete of scope
of work and schedule. Caliber Concrete scheduled to be on site starting on March 24th.
G. Ballfield –
a. Backstop – pending completion of fence and timber backstop.

b. Layout for dugouts, plaza area – pending the completion of the storm water
drainage work.
c. Finish grading for sodding – sodding for outfield completed, pending completion
around perimeter of outfield areas.
H. Sodding – Sodding for outfield completed.
I. Parent Plaza –
a. Shelter erection – in-progress. TDI completing metal roofing and trim work.
b. Site furnishing schedule, schedule to receive benches/site furnishings – shipping
date of March 20, 2023. Site furnishing arrived on-site March 23, 2023.
J. Tennis Court –
a. Installation of gate - completed
K. Portland Loo –
a. Footings for Portland Loo – building pad - pending layout of concrete pad.
b. Utility connections L. Playground –
a. Schedule for EWF- refer to Item 6M for updated schedule for EWF. In-progress. –
blowing in EWF over filter cloth – 12-inch depth.
M. Parking Lot – BDA provided ASI 11 for TDI on asphalt improvements.
N. Landscape Planting – in-progress along Union Avenue and upper planter bed.
O. Irrigation – installation – in-progress. Pressure test scheduled wk of Mar 13, TDI to
provide results to COR and BDA – completed. TDI installing valves and other irrigation
components. TDI to verify concrete thrust blocks on 2.5 and 3-inch lines. Valve boxes
and other components to be set flush to finish grade upon completion.
P. Union Avenue Parking Stalls and Parking Lot Signage – COR to provide signage to parking
lot and paint parking stall lines on Union Ave.
A. Schedule and sequencing for Work. – TDI – based on updated schedule 3/22/2023.
Schedule as shown slippage of work schedule over past schedules presented. Effort to
maintain schedule for timely completion of work and project. Project team to provide
coordination and communication to avoid project schedule slippage.
B. PSE Connection – Work to be rescheduled with PSE following approval of agreement, with
work proceeding as soon as possible. TDI to coordinate with PSE. Schedule – 4/3/23 –
4/4/3/23
C. Elementary School Ramp – 2/24/23 – 2/24/23 – reschedule pending weather conditions.

6. Coordination issues, field observations, problems, and decisions.
A. HIGH PRIORITY - Storm drainage from neighborhood on park development
B. Completion of concrete retaining wall finish, sidewalk, and crosswalks at Union Ave.
C. PSE coordination for primary power installation. TDI and PSE to schedule work asap.
D. Park monumental signage – pending COP from TDI for revised signage.
E. Playground – net climber connections – safety? Turn child swings to inside of playground.
F. Storm Drainage Revisions – coordination with BP Gas Line for storm drainage crossing.
TDI called BP Gas Line and coordinating crossing of proposed new storm drainage
lines. BDA providing cross section of storm drainage line crossing BP gas lines.
G. Front entrance walk – skateboard deterrent paving surface modifications. H. Berm Grading – Parks Maintenance coordination., review of grading of berms for ability
of park mowers.
I. Union Avenue Parking Stalls and Parking Lot Signage – COR Transportation to provide
signage to parking lot and paint parking stall lines on Union Ave.
J. COR – Urban Forestry – coordinate the conflict location between existing tree and
proposed tree at south planting area. Ian Gray, COR Arborist, on-site to day to trim
existing Douglas Fir to avoid conflict with new planting. COR to return to park site
upon completion to complete tree trimming.
7. Non-conforming work, status of correction:
A. Union Avenue streetscape sidewalk grades, RFI #20 response issued.
B. Damage to water vault at Union Avenue – replace top of water vault as required.
C. Damage to 2” water vault at Union Avenue – replace water vault as required.
D. Grading north site, west of tennis court – regrade of berm
E. Concrete spilled on new asphalt trail – at light post base, north walk
F. Damaged curb – playground sidewalk – replace damaged curb
G. Damaged curb – north walk – replace damaged curb
H. North retaining wall terminus – acceptance with credit for south wall extension
I. Tree Maintenance – trimming of roots, removal of debris, maintenance of tree protection
J. Concrete cracked corners or incomplete concrete terminus at paving section from north
walk to parent plaza area.
K. Reveal misaligned in front curb wall at front entrance planter. Repair/replace reveal
alignment and surface wall.
L. Poles and curb stops are not to be added at bike racks. Reflective warning tape to be
added to bike racks.

B. COP #16 – Light Pole Conversion Couplings – COR & BDA accepted, to be added in

C. COP #17 – Project Signage modifications – COR recommended, to be added in Change
Order.
D. COP #18 – Additional Wabash Bench – no additional bench added to project. Cost of
bench provided for Kiwanis Club contribution.
11. Contract modifications – Change Orders:
A. CO#01 – Issued on November 22, 2022
B. CO#02 – issued on February 10, 2023
C. CO#03 – issued on February 20, 2023
13.Coordination with Park Staff/City of Renton:
A. Pat Decaro – COR Bldg. Inspector – all COR utility connections and work.
14. Pay Application:
A. Union Ave. ROW – Rule 171
B. Pay Application No. 9 submitted by TDI on 3.3.23, Approved 3/15/2023.
1. Other business relating to project:
A. Kiwanis Club – Park tour – March 21, 2023, 8:00 – 9:00, 5-visitors. Notify TDI of request to
provide hard hats and safety vests for visitors. Completed.
B. Next Progress Meeting No. 15: To be determined and scheduled.
C. Substantial Completion – March 31, 2023. COR provide a summary of the requirements
for completion items to TDI, per Contract Documents.

Notes:
1. TDI to start compiling and preparing close out documentation for project Substantial
Completion. COR sent memo regarding compliance with Contract Documents for closeout
and documentation procedures, as applicable GENERAL CONDITIONS and Specific Technical
Specification Sections.
