FIREMEN'S PENSION BOARD

The regular meeting of the Firemen's Pension Board was called to order by Board Member Ray Barilleaux at
2:00 p.m. in the Mayor's Conference room, 7th floor of Renton City Hall. In attendance were Board members
Ray Barilleaux, Bonnie Walton, and Chuck Christenson (alternate). Also present was Jill Masunaga, Finance
Department Representative.
MINUTES APPROVAL
MOVED BY WALTON, SECONDED BY CHRISTENSON, THE PENSION BOARD APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE
JANUARY 16, 2014 MEETING. CARRIED.
CORRESPONDENCE
A memorandum from Mark Peterson, Fire Chief and Emergency Services Administrator was reviewed.
Peterson confirmed that by unanimous vote of the Department, Bruce Phillips was re-elected to a two-year
term of office on the Firemen's Pension Board for the period January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2015.
MONTHLY STATEMENT
The financial reports for December 31, 2013 (final),January 31, 2014, and February 28, 2014 were reviewed.
Total cash/investment balance as of February 28, 2014, was $4,760,435.79.
MONTHLY BILLS AND PENSION PAYMENTS
MOVED BY CHRISTENSON, SECONDED BY WALTON, THE BOARD APPROVE THE PENSION PAYMENTS FOR
FEBRUARY AND MARCH 2O14 IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,019.03 FOR EACH MONTH RESPECTIVELY TO BE PAID
FROM THE FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND. CARRIED.
NEW BUSINESS
Discussion took place regarding the need and options for obtaining current contact information for pension
recipient Connie Haworth. Board Secretary Walton stated she would again seek the current information.

MOVED BY CHRISTENSON, SECONDED BY WALTON, THE MEETING OF THE FIREMEN'S PENSION BOARD BE
ADJOURNED. CARRIED. Time: 2:18 p.m.
