The regular meeting of the Firemen's Pension Board was called to order by Mayor Denis
Law at 2:00 p.m. in the Mayor's office, 7th floor of Renton City Hall. In attendance were
Board members Mayor Law, Jason Seth, Acting City Clerk, Ray Barilleaux and Bruce
Phillips. Also in attendance: Jill Masunago, Finance Department Representative.
MINUTES APPROVAL
MOVED BY BARILLEAUX, SECONDED BY PHILLIPS, THE PENSION BOARD APPROVE THE
MINUTES OF THE JULY 17, 2014 MEETING. CARRIED.
CORRESPONDENCE
Correspondence was entered into the record from City Clerk Bonnie Walton announcing
her retirement from the City and the Firemen's Pension Board. Both Mr. Barilleaux and
Mr. Phillips expressed gratitude for Bonnie's 12 years of service to the board.
MONTHLY STATEMENT
The final financial reports of July and August 2014 were reviewed. Total
cash/investment balance was as of August 31, 2014 is $4,798,095.01.
MONTHLY BILLS AND PENSION PAYMENTS
MOVED BY PHILLIPS, SECONDED BY BARILLEAUX, THE BOARD APPROVE THE
PENSION/MEDICAL PAYMENTS OF $15,270.11 FOR JULY 2014 AND $15,270.11 FOR
AUGUST 2014, TO BE PAID BY THE FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND. CARRIED.
ADJOURNMENT
MOVED BY BARILLEAUX, SECONDED BY PHILLIPS, THE MEETING OF THE FIREMEN'S
PENSION BOARD BE ADJOURNED. CARRIED. Time: 2:05 p.m.
