PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Docket 18 Group A-D226: Home Occupation- The Home Occupations code
section has not been reviewed with consideration for current business practices. Businesses like Etsy where a
person can operate a business in their home with no impact to their neighborhood were not in existence. Staff
is proposing amendments to allow for such home occupations, to provide a clear land use permit process for
home occupations, and to provide clarity regarding revocation of home occupation business licenses when
violations take place.
