1. Call To Order:
Louis Trujillo called the meeting to order at 4:16 p.m.
2. Announcements:
None.
3. Approval Of Minutes:
Moved by Camila Lagow and Seconded by Gary Googins to approve the January 24, 2023, Regular meeting
minutes. Motion Carried.
4. Public Comment:
None
5. Unfinished Business:
Commissioners are looking forward to some training on the Police Department’s criteria for disqualifying
candidates in background.
6. New Business:
A. Entry Police Officer Eligibility List* and Examination Report**
Moved by Cynthia Yalcinkaya and seconded by Gary Googins to approve the Entry Police Officer
Eligibility List. Motion Carried.
B. Police Services Specialist Eligibility List* and Examination Report**
Moved by Camila Lagow and seconded by Gary Googins to approve the Police Services Specialist
Eligibility List. Motion Carried.
C. Police Services Specialist Job Bulletin* and revised Classification*
Moved by Cynthia Yalcinkaya and seconded by Camila Lagow to approve the Police Services Specialist
Job Bulletin and Classification. Motion Carried.
CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
D. Civil Service Rules revisions*
Moved by Camila Lagow, seconded by Gary Googins to approve the revised Civil Service Rules. Motion
Carried.
7. Other Business/Comments
Commissioners appreciated that the Civil Service Rules were emailed well in advance to review thoroughly.
HR will email and mail a copy of the revised Civil Service Rules to commissioners.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:27 PM.
