install a type 2 cb on the existing 18" storm drain.
install a short section of pipe from the new cb south to
the ditch to pick up the ditch flow. this pipe will need to
be installed above the existing 18" storm drain. install
debris barrier on pipe inlet from the ditch per cor std.
plan 223.00. set the new type 2 cb rim low enough for
ditch to overflow to the cb grate if inlet pipe from the
ditch gets plugged.
this eliminates the need to install 86 lf of 12" di storm
drain over the existing 18" storm drain. this is a more
efficient design with less material to install and
reduces the amount of infrastructure that has to be
publicly maintained and cost to residents (rate payers).
please see the attached plan for an example of a similar
design. revise and resubmit for approval.
this needs to be a new type 2 cb with
a grated lid. this needs to be a type
2 cb as it will be more than 5' from
rim to invert. show and label new
type 2 catch basin.
remove this pipe.
show triangular
