SUMMARY OF PROPOSAL: The applicant for the Johnson Annexation has requested that the City rezone the subject 16.61-acre
(non-street portion) of the subject site, pursuant to RCW 35A.14.330, so that zoning will be in place at the time the subject site comes
into they Cty. The City is proposing R-8 zoning for the site since this is consistent with the current Residential Single Family land use
designation shown on the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map. The proposed prezone is considered to be a non-project action under
SEPA.
