RentonHeritageRoadClosuresThesiteoftheRentonHeritageApartmentComplexislocatedonthesouthwestcorneroftheintersectionofSouth2StreetandMainAvenue.OsborneconstructionplanstousethetrafficandparkinglanesofbothSouth2u,dStreetandMainAvenuealongthelengthsofthelot.LeadinguptotheclosureonSouth2St.,onlya‘LeftLaneClosedAhead’signwillbeprovidedtoalertthedrivingpublicofthelaneclosuresincethereareonly3lanesleadingintoit.Oncepastthefootprintofthebuilding,thelanewillbeopenedupcompletely.AsimilarclosurewillhappenleadingintoMainAvenueonBronsonWaySouth.Usingvarioussignageandtrafficcones,therightturninglaneleadingintoMainAve.willbetaperedintoasinglelaneaheadoftheSouth2St/MainAve.intersection.ThistrafficandparkinglaneclosurewillextendalongthefootprintofthebuildingandpromptlyendbeforetheBerlinerPub.Bothclosureswillgiveabout33feetbetweenthefaceofthebuildingandthefenceattheedgeoftheclosure.Thisshouldbeadequateroomforthestorageofmaterialsandthenavigationofaforklifttoliftmaterialstovariousfloors.Thisclosurewillactasabarrierfromthevariousworkplaceactivitiesandwillbenefitthesafetyofthetravelingpublic.Thisclosurewillalsoclosethesidewalksalongtheperimeterofthestructure.Sidewalkpedestrianswillberedirectedaroundtheworkareabymeansofa‘SidewalkClosed’signontheSEcornerofWellsAveandSouth2’St.,whichwillpointpedestrianstothewalkwaysontheoppositesideofthestreet.A‘SidewalkClosedAhead’signwillbeplacesontheNWcorneroftheintersectionofSouth3rdStandMainAveSouthandwilldirectpedestrianstotheeastsideofMainAveSouth.Wewillalsoplace‘CrosswalkClosed’signsatthesouthernmostcrosswalkattheintersectionofSouth2FandMainAve.tostoppedestriansfromcrossingintoourworkzone.NewutilitieswillbeinstalledwithintheclosureonMainAve.aswell.TheclosureofthewesternMainAveparkingandtravellanewillgiveusroomtobeginexcavationandinstallationofnewutilityandwaterlinetie-instoourstructureaswellasthenewcatchbasins.TobeabletocompletethewaterlineontheeasternlaneofMainAye,theclosureonMainAvenuewillfliptotheeasternsideofthestreet.Wewilltaketheparkinglaneandtravellaneforthedurationoftheworkbutwillkeepthesidewalkopentoallowforpedestrianaccess.ThisclosurewillstretchintoBronsonWaySouthwithasimilarclosureasbeforebutintheoppositelane.South2StwillbeopenonlytolocaltrafficattheintersectionofSouth2FidandMillAveSouthforthedurationofthisworkwhilethroughtrafficisdirectedaround.Oncethisworkiscompletedtheclosurewillbeflippedbacktotheeasternsideofthestreetontheoutlineofthestructureuntilthestructureiscomplete.OSBORNECONSTRUCTIONCOMPANYP.O.Box97010(98083-9710)HALVORSONCONSTRUCTIONGROUPWACONST#OSBORCC133PB10602NE38PLACE,STE.100WACONST#HALVOCG9O8M6WWW.OSBORNE.COKIRKLAND,WA98033-9709WWW.HALVORSONCONSTPUCTION.COM
