THE FOLLOWING WAS NOTED:
Associated Earth Sciences Inc. (AESI) was onsite at 1:00pm at the request of the general contractor to observe native soil
conditions and placement of sidewalk subgrade along Duvall Avenue NE at the Renton School District No. 403
development.
Sidewalk Subgrade Conditions
AESI arrived onsite and observed contractor had completed grading approximately 550-feet of an approximately 600-
foot sidewalk along Duvall Avenue NE at the eastern margin of the Renton School District No. 403 development. AESI
observed contractor had placed 4 to 6-inches of 5/8-inch crushed rock along native subgrade compacted with a
vibratory plate compactor. AESI observed contractor had not yet graded or placed rock on approximately 50-feet of the
sidewalk subgrade, and was not on site 1/16/2023.
AESI departed the site at 1:30pm and will return for further observations and testing as requested by the client.
