The arborist can focus on the two parcels, but we will still be reviewing for site‐wide compliance with the tree credit standards. This may be difficult to do without the arborist looking at the entire site as a whole. If they think they can demonstrate compliance with our tree regulations without inventorying the entire site, that is fine, but I believe it’d be difficult to meet the code requirements without doing so. Will it be acceptable is the arborist focuses the report on the two affected tax parcels where the improvements will occur? In other words, instead of looking at the entire 32‐acre Hazen High School Site, the arborist report will focus on tree retention within the two parcels that comprise less than 10 acres?? This makes sense to me but we need to confirm with you. This could also be prepared by a licensed landscape architect. Some projects require a detailed landscape plan up front, but most only need a conceptual plan (detailed plan is typically submitted at time of civil or building permit review). In the case of this project, a conceptual plan is just fine.
