AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
2022-2023 HUMAN SERVICES CONTRACT
# CAG-22-339 (CDBG-CV3)
THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as April 30, 2023, is by and between the
City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and Domestic Abuse Women’s
Network (DAWN) (“Agency”) a Washington nonprofit corporation. The City and the Agency are
referred to collectively in this Amendment as the “Parties.”
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Agency under Agreement CAG-22-339, dated
October 12, 2022 to provide assistance to Renton residents using Renton’s federal Community
Development Block Grant Round 3 (CDBG-CV3) funds (referred to herein as the “Agreement”);
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to allow more time to expend the funds.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-22-339 is amended as follows:
1. Duration of Agreement: Provision 3, Duration of Agreement, and Exhibit 1, Scope of
Services, Effective Date are each amended to extend the agreement until August 31,
2023.
All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and effect
and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if fully set
forth herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Amendment as of the date
last signed by the Parties below.
