Dear Ms. Halverson:
The Planning Division of the City of Renton accepted the above master application for review on May 5, 2023.
During review of the submitted project documents, staff has determined that additional information is needed
in order to proceed with review of the application. Specifically, the applicant shall address the following:
1) The Preliminary Utility Plan, prepared by Barghausen Consulting Engineers, Inc., dated April 5, 2023, was
submitted with the land use application. The Plan shows a proposed 38’ wide utility easement along the
southwest property line of City’s property (Parcel# 2023059109) for both storm main and sewer main
extension serving the proposed project. In order to facilitate City of Renton Public Works and Water
Utility Department to determine if this proposal is acceptable, additional information are required: i) a
detailed survey of the proposed easement area, i.e., topography, vegetation/trees present, soils; ii) a
grading plan showing clearing/grading limit and the two maintenance accesses; iii) a tree
removal/retention plan within the easement area; iv) a construction plan and profile of the sewer main
extension and stormwater main along the easement and Puget Dr SE with a utility crossing table, e.g.,
Olympic Pipeline and 16’’ City Water Main within the Puget Dr SE.
At this time, your project has been placed “on hold” pending receipt of the updated project documents identified
above and in the attached memo. The maximum time for resubmittal shall be within 90 days of this notice, unless
an extension is approved by the Current Planning Project Manager. Please contact me at (425) 430-7219 if you
