WHEREAS, WSDOT amends AGREEMENT PTD0417 to:
NOW THEREFORE, the following AMENDMENTS are hereby incorporated into AGREEMENT PTD0417:
- Extend the contract term to June 30, 2024 to allow the City of Renton to complete the project. State funding
for the project has been exhausted. Local funds will be used by the City of Renton to complete the project and
meet the match requirement as committed for this project. The City of Renton will report to WSDOT and submit
a summary of completion including provided match once the project is operationally complete;
RECITAL
WHEREAS, the State of Washington in its Senate Bill 1125 Sessions Laws of 2023, Section 221 authorizes
funding for Public Transportation Programs and other special proviso funding as identified in the Move Ahead
Washington budget through its 2023-2025 biennial appropriations to WSDOT; and

This is the first ADMINISTRATIVE AMENDMENT to AGREEMENT PTD0417 entered into between the
Washington State Department of Transportation (hereinafter referred to as “WSDOT”), and City of Renton
(hereinafter referred to as “CONTRACTOR”), and/or individually referred to as the “PARTY” and collectively
referred to as the “PARTIES,”

AGREEMENT
1. RECITALS are hereby incorporated into this AGREEMENT.
Current Funds reflect total funding appropriated by the Washington State Legislature for
the Project in the 2023-2025 biennium.
4. A copy of this AMENDMENT to AGREEMENT PTD0417 shall be attached to and made a part of the original
AGREEMENT. Any references to the “AGREEMENT” shall mean “AGREEMENT as amended.”
5. All other terms and conditions of the original AGREEMENT not hereby amended shall remain in full force
and effect. This document may be simultaneously executed in several counterparts, each of which shall be
deemed original having identical legal effect.
City of Renton - Rainier Ave So. Corridor Imp - Ph 4A
Continue construction of previous Rainier Ave. improvements and improve access and
mobility between the Renton Growth Center and connections to regional transportation
facilities of I-405, SR 167, SR 900, and the Tukwila Sounder Station. Includes construction
of BAT lanes, transit facility upgrades and other improvements.
