The system has been designed per NFPA 72, 2016 edition requirements as well as WAC, IBC, IFC 2012, NEC current and your additional requirements. The building is fully-sprinkled. The system shall monitor by zone activation as well as separate trouble signals. Monitoring shall be provided via the FACP’s onboard DACT and retransmitting signals to the Central Station, The Alarm Center LACEY, WA. Audibility shall be in compliance with NFPA standards. A full service and monitoring agreement is in force for the proper service and maintenance per NFPA requirements. AMBIENT TEMPERATURES No area with alarm service equipment shall fall below 40 degrees, common areas shall be at 68 degrees per builder AMBIENT NOISE RANGE All areas serviced by the Fire Alarm Control and notification system will be as listed for per UBC listings, per builder. SEQUENCE OF OPERATIONS All Alarm and Trouble conditions shall enunciate at FACP as well as remote notify UL listed Central Station. Zones of alarm shall cause for all notification circuits to activate, send alarm zone to CS, re-dispatch to Fire and dispatch FPI runner service. Trouble and supervisory signals shall transmit to CS which will dispatch FPI runner service to site, (no notification circuits shall activate.) On site emergency contact personnel shall be notified. Wet Waterflow ALARMS shall be retarded by a period of not more than 45 seconds. Low air shall activate at 25lbs, causing for a supervisory signal. A short on FACP smoke, Waterflow Switches, (wet and dry) and pull station shall cause alarm. Shorts on PIV, tamper and Hi-low air zones shall cause a Supervisory condition.
