1. BY AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF RENTON, IN CONSIDERATION OF LAND
DONATION MADE FOR FUTURE COMPREHENSIVE STORM RETENTION
SYSTEM, NO RETENTION - DETENTION SYSTEM IS REQUIRED FOR THIS
SITE.
2. A TEN YEAR DESIGN STORM HAS BEEN SPECIFIED. AN n = 0.024
WILL BE ASSUMED FOR PIPE SIZING. THE STORM DRAINAGE PIPE
SIZING WAS CALCULATED USING THE KING COUNTY STORM DRAINAGE
CONTROL METHOD AS NOTED IN MAY 1979 PUBLICATION. ROOF
DOWNSPOUTS HAVE BEEN TIGHT LINED INTO NEW STORM SYSTEM.
3. TO CALCULATE THE STORMWATER RUNOFF FROM THE THREE BASINS
WHICH ADJOIN AND USE THE STORM SYSTEM OF EARLINGTON
BUSINESS PARK TO THE NORTH OF THIS PROJECT USE THE TIME OF
CONCENTRATION CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED WITH THOSE PLANS AS A
STARTING POINT. THESE TIMES OF CONCENTRATION HAVE BEEN
REVISED TO PROVIDE FOR VALLEY 405 BUSINESS PARK CONDITIONS.
ALL BASIN AREAS MEASURED BY PLANIMETER. FOR SIMPLIFICATION
ALL NON -PERVIOUS AREAS ARE ASSUMED TO HAVE A C = 0.9 WHILE
LANDSCAPED PERVIOUS AREAS ARE ASSUMED TO HAVE A C = 0.2.
TIME OF CONCENTRATION WILL BE CALCULATED ASSUMING MAJORITY
OF FLOW IN NON -PERVIOUS AREAS, THEREFORE AN INITIAL TIME OF
COLLECTION OF 5 MINUTES IS USED.
