Work on Saturday by approval only and no work will be allowed on Sundays. Any changes to work hours shall have prior approval from the City of Renton. No work on Sundays or holidays. No equipment shall be started prior to 7:00 a.m. • Holidays: November 12 (Veterans Day), November 22-23, December 24-25, January 1, 2008, January 21, 2008 (MLK) • Progress Payments: Typically once a month. Schedule 1 will start November 21, December 14"',....Schedule 2 will start December 3"d, January 4"'....(These are our Finance Cutoff Days) We do not have schedule for 2008 yet. There is both catch basins and ditches to protect. Maintenance of erosion control systems will be monitored. • Haul legal loads. • Keep a set of approved City construction drawings and construction documents on -site at all times. Contractors are advised to only use sets of drawings stamped and signed by the City of Renton for constructing utility and transportation improvements. Refer to City specifications for connections. All valve operations shall be done by City Water Dept. Inspection • City inspection (Patrick DeCaro) All work to be inspected by City inspector prior to backfill. All thrust blocks must be inspected. Refer to contract specifications for water main installation, testing, cleaning and final connection. Pothole to verify horizontal and vertical alignment of existing pipes before installing new line. All DI pipes and fittings must be polywrapped. Install vertical crosses for "polypigging", including temporary blocks, blow -offs as shown on plans. Clean new water line with "polypig", witnessed by inspector Pressure test new water main at 225 psi for 2 hours, maximum lost in pressure of 5 psi during 2 hour test period. chlorinated water in sanitary sewer system. We have now bid and awarded the project. Unfortunately, when we had the preconstruction meeting we neglected to invite District 90. At this time, the schedule calls for construction to begin December 3, 2007. Enclosed is a copy of the plans. It would appear that the District's 8" main along the east side of Duvall Avenue NE should not be impacted by our construction. We will be constructing in the vicinity of the 6" main the District has in NE 10`h Street where it crosses Duvall Avenue NE (see sheet 4 of I I). If the District would like to meet with the City and our contractor prior to construction in this area, please let us know and we will arrange a meeting.
