Installation of Replacement Doors — East Renton Lift Station
The access hatches at Renton's East Renton Lift Station have been stolen / damaged. There does not appear
to be any damage to the frames.
Renton has worked with LW Products of Woodinville to have replacement hatches constructed. The new
hatches are constructed so the skirt sits inside the existing frame and uses stainless steel wedges to anchor
them in place.
Attached are photos of the two hatches to be repaired. You may contact LW Products to look at the new
hatches and talk to them about installation.

This is a sewer utility project not a 171. So we pay the lump sum price plus the sales tax on that amount. I am going to
send out a general e-mail to all 3 contractors for clarification on the bid and tax.
