GENERAL NOTES:
1, All work and materials shall be in conformance with the standards and specifications of the
City of Renton utility department and APWA Standards and Specifications, 1977 Edition.
2. All locations of existing utilities shown are approximate and it shall be the contractor's
responsibility to verify the true and correct location so as to avoid damage or disturbance.
3a The contractor shall verify location and depth of existing utilities befoe disturbing.
N4. All construction is subject to the inspection by the City of Renton and the contractor shall
notify the City of his schedule in sufficient time to permit inspection prior to and during the
work.
5. Prior to beginning work arrangements shall be made with the City of Renton for a PRE -
CONSTRUCTION CONFERENCE to be attended by the contractor, City of Renton and other re-
presentatives of interested utilities.,
6. Side sewer locations are to be verified in the field prior to construction.
7. All sanitary sewer force main shall be 2" dia. ABS Plastic pipe or approved equal,

8. All trenches shall be compacted prior to testing sewer lines for acceptance.
9. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to secure all necessary permits prior to starting
construction. All permit fees shall be paid by the contractor/including posting bonds.
10� The sanitary sewer crossing of N.E. Sunset Blvd. shall be cased unless otherwise approved by
the City of Renton. The contractor shall notify the City of Renton of the construction
methods and schedule to accomplish this work and shall be notified of the City's acceptance
of these prior to proceeding with the work.,
11. The contractor shall verify all dimensions and locations prior to construction of the sewer.
Contractor shall keep an accurate account of all sewer construction including an accurate
"AS -BUILT" set of construction drawings. "AS -BUILT" drawings shall be delivered to the
owner or his representative after completion of the work and before FINAL PAYMENT for
the work.
12. All landscaped areas within the public right-of-way and on private property disturbed during
construction shall be restored.
