CONSTRUCTION NOTES:
1. All construction shall be in conformance with the requirements of
the City of Renton. and the "Standard Specifications for Municipal
Public Works Construction" Washington State Chapter of the American
Public Works Association, 1977 edition.
2. All 8 and 12 inch diameter storm drain pipe shall be 16 gauge
corrugated steel pipe, Treatment 1.
All 24-inch storm drain pipe shall be 14 gauge corrugated steel
pipe, Treatment 1.
All 48-inch and 36-inch diameter storm drain retention pipe shall
be 10 gauge corrugated steel pipe, Treatment 1.
3. All Type 1 catch basins shall conform to Standard Plan No. 52 of the
Standard Specifications.
All Type II catch basins shall conform to Standard Plan No. 55 of the
Standard Specifications.
4. All catch basins shall be equipped with a cast iron frame and grate
conforming to Standard Plan No. 49 of the Standard Specifications,
except CB's 9, 10, 11, and 12 which shall be equipped with a standard
24-inch diameter manhole frame and cover as per Standard Plan No. 42
of the Standard Specifications.
5. All existing contours and design elevations are on City of Renton datum
(USCaGS) BM No. 63 Elev. = 141.14.
6. All areas to be "filled" shall be compacted to 90% relative density as
per the Modified AASHO Method.
7. All existing utilities have been plotted by the Engineer from the best
information available.. Prior to construction, it shall be the
responsibility of the Contractor to verify the exact size, type,
location, and depths of such existing utilities.
8. Construction or Grading Easements required for this project shall be acquired by the owner.
GENERAL NOTE: Topographic and survey information was supplied by the
Developer. SEA Engineers assumes no liability for
topographic or survey information used in designing
these plans.
