TEMPORARY EROSION/SEDIMENTATION CONTROL GENERAL NOTES
1. All work and materials shall be in accordance with City of Renton standard
plans and specifications.
2. A copy of this plan must be on -site whenever construction is in progress.
3. The temporary erosion/sedimentation control facilities shall be constructed
prior to any grading or extensive land clearing. The facilities must be
satisfactorily maintained until the construction and landscaping is completed
and the potential for on -site erosion has passed.
4. The siltation control systems depicted on this drawing are such as to meet
minimum City requirements. As construction progresses and expected
(seasonal) conditions dictate, more siltation control facilities may be
required to insure complete siltation control on the proposed development.
Therefore, during the course of construction, it shall be the obligation
and responsibility of the contractor to address any new conditions that
may be created by his activities and to provide additional facilities over
and above mini,mum requirements, as may be needed to protect adjacent
properties.
5. Approval of this plan does not constitute an approval of design, 'size nor
location of pipes, restrictors, channels or retention facilities; but is an
approval of the temporary erosion sedimentation control plan only.
6. Where possible, maintain natural vegetation for silt control and to minimize
erosion.
7. Return siltation control areas to original ground conditions or seed and land-
scape per the approved grading plan.
8. RocK checK dams to be installed in collector ditches exceeding 8% where
needed and a5 directed by City of Renton.
