Curb Ramp
1. Curb Ramps will be located in the
field by the City of Renton engineer.
2. Curb ramp shall not be poured integral
with sidewalk or pavement and shall be
isolated by through joint material on all
sides, but not at end of ramp adjacent
to roadway pavement.
3. Curb ramp shall not have color pigments added.
4. The center ramp section concrete shall have a
coarse
textured surface obtained by a

9-11 flattened
expanded
metal mesh
being
pressed
into the still
fresh concrete.
The long
axis of
the diamond
pattern shall be
perpen-
dicular
to the curb.
The triangular wing
sections shall have a
slightly brushed
finish,
parallel
to the curb.
