GENERAL NOTES
I. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to meet all requirements of state,
local authorities, health departments and utility companies, regardless of
information stated on the Drainage and Grading Plan.
2. All landscaped areas to be rough graded to 6" below top of all walks and curbs.
Final grading and landscaping by others.
3. Paving specifications: Two 1-1/2" lifts, asphalt concrete pavement over 6"
crushed rock base.
4. The grade of paving asphalt shall be AR-2000 and shall be Class "B" in accord-
ance with Section 34 of the 1981 A.P.W.A. Standard Specifications.
5. The crushed rock base course shall meet the requirements for base course as
specified in Section 23 of the 1981 A.P.W.A. Standard Specifications and shall
be compacted in layers so that the density of the material is not less than 95%
of the standard laboratory density when tested in accordance with A.S.T.M.
Method D698.
6. The subgrade shall conform to the requirements of Section 15 of the 1981 A.P.W.A.
Standard Specifications and shall be undisturbed soil or native soil compacted
in layers so that the density of the material is not less than 95% of the maxi-
mum density as per A.S.T.M. Method D698.
7. Damage to any existing facilities shall be the responsibility of the Contractor.
If existing utilities or other conditions prevent the use of this plan, the
proposed deviation must be approved by the Owner.
8. Driveways shall conform to City of Renton Standard Plans for
commercial driveways.
