Ramp Texturing to be done with expanded metal
grate placed and removed from wet concrete to
leave a diamond pattern as shown. The long axis
of the diamond pattern shall be perpendicular
to the curb. Grooves shall be I/8' deep and
1/4" wide.
Curb cut alternate, Design A. 8, or C shall be
specified in the contract plans or Special
Provisions.
Curb ramp shall not be poured integral with
sidewalk or pavement and shall be isolated by
expansion ,joint material on all sides, but not at
end of ramp adjacent to roadway pavement_
inlets shall be so located that runoff does not
flow past the curb ramp-

THE PERFORMANCE BOND WELL NOT BE RELEASED UNTIL THE
GRASS IS ESTABLISHED UNLESS OTHERWISE APPROVED BY
KING COUNTY DEPT. OF PUBLIC WORKS.
8. ACCURATE VERIFICATION AS TO SIZE, LOCATION AND DEPTH
OF EXISTING UNDERGROUND CONDUITS OR UTILITIES SHALL
BE THE INDIVIDUAL CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY. PLAN
