GENERAL NOTES
1. ALL WORK AND MATERIALS SHALL BE IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE STANDARDS OF THE
CITY OF RENTON DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND THE LATEST EDITION OF THE
APWA STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
2. EXISTING UTILITY INFORMATION IS APPROXIMATE. IT SHALL BE THE CONTRACTOR'S
RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY UTILITY LOCATIONS TO AVOID DAMAGE OR DISTURB-
ANCE. FOR ASSISTANCE IN UTILITY LOCATION, CALL 1-800-424-5555 PRIOR TO
CONSTRUCTION.
3. NO FINAL CUT SLOPE SHALL EXCEED 1i:1 (HORIZ:VERT) WITHOUT STABILIZATION
BY ROCKERY OR RETAINING WALL.
4. NO FINAL EMBANKMENT SLOPE SHALL EXCEED 2:1 WITHOUT STABILIZATION BY
ROCKERY OR RETAINING WALL.
