COMPACTION NOTE
All berms or embankments constructed for retention/
detention ponds in excess of 2 feet in height shall
be compacted to at least 95 percent of the maximum
relative density as determined by Section 2-03.3(14)D
of the Washington State Highway Department 1980 Standard
Specifications. Those berms 2 feet in height and less
shall be compacted as stated above or compacted by a
dozer or similar type piece of equipment in lifts not
