GENERAL NO TES:
1. ALL WORK AND MATERIALS SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH 1981 A.P,W.A. STANDARDS
AND SPECIFICATIONS AND CITY OF RENTON REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS AND
SUBJECT TO APPROVAL AND INSPECTION BY CITY OF RENTON.
2, LOCATIONS OF EXISTING UTILITIES ARE APPROXIMATE. IT SHALL BE THE
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY THE EXACT LOCATIONS SO AS TO
AVOID DAMAGE.
3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY EACH UTILITY AND COORDINATE HIS WORK SCHEDULE
WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF POWER, TELEPHONE, GAS AND CABLE T.V. FACILITIES.
4. ALL STORM SEWER PIPE SHALL BE P.V.C. AS NOTED ON THE PLANS. GASKETS ARE
REQUIRED FOR ALL STORM SEWER PIPE.
5. ALL PIPE BEDDING SHALL BE PEA GRAVEL 6" OVER AND UNDER PIPE. ALL
PIPE/TRENCH BACKFILL SHALL BE COMPACTED TO A MINIMUM OF 95% OF MAXIMUM
RELATIVE DENSITY.
6. ALL TYPE II CATCH BASINS SHALL BE CIT! OF RENTON STANDARD PLAN NO. 60 AND
ALL TYPE I -A CATCH BASINS SHALL CONFORM TO CITY OF RENTON STANDARDS AND
SPECIFICATIONS.
7. CATCH BASIN FRAMES AND GRATES SHALL BE ADJUSTED TO FINISH GRADE AFTER
PAVING.
8. EXTRUDED CEMENT CONCRETE CURB SHALL CONFORM TO CITY OF RENTON STANDARD
PLAN NO. 16.
9. ALL SIDEWALK SHALL BE TYPE B A.P.W.A. STANDARD PLAN NO. 14.
10. ALL BUILDING DOWNSPOUTS AND FOOTING DRAINS SHALL BE CONNECTED TO THE STORM
DRAINAGE SYSTEM.
11. PRIOR TO ANY CONSTRUCTION/DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY THE CITY OF RENTON
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS MUST BE CONTACTED AND A PRE -CONSTRUCTION
MEETING HELD.
12. ALL HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL LAYOUT AND CONTROL SHALL BE DONE BY FIELD
SURVEY.
13. AS -BUILT PLANS AND RECORDS SHALL BE FURNISHED BY THE CONTRACTOR SHOWING ALL
DEVIATIONS FROM THE APPROVED PLANS.
14. IT SHALL BE THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO SECURE ALL NECESSARY
PERMITS PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION.
15. UNLESS SANITARY SEWER IS P.U.C. THE SEWER LINE WILL BE CORE DRILLED FOR
SERVICE.
