GENERAL NOTES
I. All work materials shall be in conformance with the standards and specifications
the City of Renton Utility Department, and the latest edition of the Al'WA Stan-
dards and Specifications.
�. All locations f o s o existing utilities shown are approximate and it shall be the contr
tor's responsibility to verify the true and correct location so as to avoid damage
disruption.
3. A preconstruction conference and twenty-four hour notice will be required prior
starting new construction.
4. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to secure all necessary permits prior to
starting construction.
5. Inspection will be .ccomplished by a representative of the City of Renton. It sh
be the contractor's responsibility to notify the Utility Department 24 hours in
advance of backfilling all construction.
6. All new asphalt pavement within the public right-of-way shall consist of:
-3" (min.) compacted depth Class "B" concrete, over
-4" (min.) compacted depth asphalt treated base, over
-4" (min.) crushed rock (5/8" minus) compacted to 95% of maximum density p
ASTM D-1557, over
-12" (min.) bank -run gravel compacted to 95% of maximum density per ASTM
D-1557, over
- recompacted subgrade to 90% of maximum density per ASTM-1557
