1. All construction and materials shall be in conformance with standards
and specifications of the City of Renton Utility Department and Stand-
ard!i & Specifications of APWA, latest edition
2. All storm drain pipe shall be corrugated helical aluminum pipe, or
galvanized steel pipe with treatment 1.
3. a, All Type I catch basins shall conform to, Standard Plan No. 52.
Type I catch basins shall be equipped with a cast iron frame
and grate per Standard Plan No. 49.
b. Type II catch basins shall conform to Standard Plan No. 55,
54 inch diameter, Type II catch basins shall be equipped with
a standard 24 inch diameter manhole frame and cover, marked
"DRAIN', per Standard Plan No, 42.
Ail Standard Plans noted above refer to Standard Specifications of
APWA, latest edition.
4. All existing contours and design elevations are based upon City of
Renton Datum,
5. All areas to be filled shall be compacted to 90% relative density
per modified AASHO method,
6. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to verify true and
correct location of existing utilities before excavation to pre-
vent damage, Drawings do not show all underground utilities.
7. Finished grades of parking area and rim elevation of the restrict -
or CB shall be set by a surveyor during construction,
$. All curbs adjacent to landscaping areas and parking areas shall be
extruded cement concrete.
9. Sanitary side sewer pipe shall be bell and spigot rubber gasket
joint PVC, per ASTM D3034.
10. Verify depth of existing side sewer at existing wye at property
line before installing side sewer.
