AQUIFER PROTECTION AREA AN ARE SUBJECT TO THE
REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITY OF RENTON ORDINANCE #4367 AND
AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 4740. THIS CITY'S SOLE SOURCE
OF DRINKING WATER IS SUPPLIED FROM A SHALLOW AQUIFER
UNDER THE CITY SURFACE. THERE IS NO NATURAL BARRIER
BETWEEN THE WATER TABLE AND GROUND SURFACE. EXTREME
CARE SHOULD BE EXERCISED WHEN HANDLING OF ANY LIQUID
SUBSTANCE OTHER THAN WATER TO PROTECT FROM CONTACT WITH
