CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN EXISTING DRAINAGE, WATER, AND UTILITY SYSTEMS OR CONSTRUCT TEMPORARY SYSTEMS UNTIL FINAL SYSTEMS ARE FULLY OPERATIONAL. 7. PROJECT SIGNS SHALL BE PLACED AT BOTH THE NORTH AND SOUTH CONSTRUCTION LIMITS (COORDINATE EXACT LOCATION WITH THE ENGINEER). "BUSINESS OPEN DURING CONSTRUCTION" SIGNS SHALL BE PLACED AT BUSINESS ACCESSES AS SHOWN ON THE PLANS. THE SIGNS SHALL BE USED DURING ALL CONSTRUCTION PHASES. FLASHERS SHALL BE MOUNTED ON ALTERNATING DRUMS. ADDITIONAL DRUMS AT CLOSER SPACING WILL BE REQUIRED AT INTERSECTIONS AND DRIVEWAYS TO SAFELY CHANNELIZE THE TRAFFIC. 9.
