I. The Contractor shall take all necessary precautions in the course of his work to avoid damage
to existing improvements and facilities which are not to be removed. The location of existing
gas, water, air, fuel and other services to Airport work areas has not been shown on the
plans. The Contractor shall locate these facilities, as well as any other utility structures or
facilities in the construction area, in advance of construction using pipe locators or any other
means as required.
Existing plans and details as well as the services of an Airport Representative, will be
available on request to assist the Contractcr. However, any damage to existing facilities
will be the sole responsibility of the Contractor.
2. All existing storm drain pipes draining from Rainier Ave. N. to the new storm drain system
shall be relayed as required to maintain a minimum, of 12'� of cover below existing ground
or the new f ill, whichever is higher.
