The work of this contract is herein modified to include the change detailed below. Additional quantities for existing and new items shall constitute the complete and final settlement for all costs of labor, material, equipment, overhead, profit, permit fees, damages (whether direct or indirect), and all other claims by the contractor as a result of this change. The City of Renton and Sound Transit agreed to construct the access road to the alignment of the future Temporary Access Road that connects to the Sound Transit Driveway Access. This alignment dictated the use of the west crossing and the new access road will be 30 feet wide in lieu of the plan 15 feet wide. The road shall be constructed using Construction Geotextile for Separation with a 1 foot layer of Quarry Spalls placed over the fabric. The roadway shall be constructed to the revised alignment and details included on the attached plan sheet. Add the Following New Item to Contract CAG 11 -133: Description: New Bid Item 138 represents full payment for all labor, equipment, and material necessary to con- struct the revised access road as described in this change order and shown on the included revised plan sheet. This includes additional surveying and traffic control required for the construction and all maintenance required throughout the duration of the project, no further compensation will be made.
