ADJOURNMENT MINUTES CITY OF RENTON January 16,2014 Denis Law, Mayor Terri Briere, Council Finance Committee Chair (Substitute: Marcie Palmer, Council Finance Committee Vice -Chair) Bonnie Walton, City Clerk Ray Barilleaux, Fire Department Representative Bruce Phillips, Fire Department Representative Chuck Christensen, Fire Department Alternate The regular meeting of the Firemen's Pension Board was called to order by Terri Briere, Council Finance Committee Chair, at 2:00 p.m. in the Mayor's Conference room, 7th floor of Renton City Hall. In attendance were Board members Terri Briere, Ray Barilleaux and Bruce Phillips. Also present was Sandi Weir (for Bonnie Walton) and Jill Masunaga, Finance Department Representative. MINUTES APPROVAL MOVED BY BARILLEAUX, SECONDED BY PHILLIPS, THE PENSION BOARD APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE NOVEMBER 21, 2013 MEETING. CARRIED. CORRESPONDENCE Per memorandum from Jason Seth regarding term expiration of Board member Bruce Phillips, board members reported that an election is in process and results will be submitted to the City Clerk at a later date. MONTHLY STATEMENT The financial report for November 30, 2013, and a draft financial report for December 31, 2013 were presented and reviewed. Total cash/investment balance as of December 31, 2013, was $4,790,246.57. MONTHLY BILLS AND PENSION PAYMENTS MOVED BY BARILLEAUX, SECONDED BY PHILLIPS, THE BOARD APPROVE THE PENSION PAYMENTS FOR DECEMBER 2013 AND JANUARY 2014 IN THE AMOUNTS OF $15,270.11 AND $16,019.03 RESPECTIVELY, WHICH INCLUDES A 1.0% COST OF LIVING INCREASE EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2014.
