The regular meeting of the Firemen's Pension Board was called to order by Mayor Denis Law at 2:00
p.m. in the Mayor's Conference room, 7th floor of Renton City Hall. In attendance were Board
members Denis Law, Don Persson, Ray Barilleaux, Bruce Phillips, and Bonnie Walton. Also present
was Jill Masunaga, Finance Department representative.
MINUTES APPROVAL
MOVED BY BARILLEAUX, SECONDED BY PHILLIPS, THE PENSION BOARD APPROVE THE MINUTES OF
THE JUNE 16, 2011 MEETING. CARRIED.
CORRESPONDENCE
Bonnie Walton presented the annual recommendation for Cost of Living Increase payable to widows
on July 31, 2011, as required under RCW 41.18.104. The Consumer Price Index 2010 annual average
increase for the Seattle -Tacoma -Bremerton area for All Urban Consumers was .3%. MOVED BY
WALTON, SECONDED BY PHILLIPS TO APPROVE A 2% COST OF LIVING INCREASE FOR WIDOWS PER
RCW 41.16.145, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2011 AND PAYABLE JULY 31, 2011. CARRIED.
MONTHLY STATEMENT
The financial report as of June 30, 2011, was reviewed. Total cash/investment balance was
$4,260.417.02.
NTHLY BILLS AND PENSION PAYMENTS
MOVED BY PHILLIPS, SECONDED BY BARILLEAUX, THE BOARD APPROVE THE PENSION/MEDICAL
PAYMENTS FOR MAY 2011, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $24,216.77 TO BE PAID FROM THE FIREMEN'S
PENSION FUND. CARRIED. It was pointed out that the payment total includes the 2% increase for
widows as was previously approved.

MOVED BY BARILLEAUX, SECONDED BY PHILLIPS, THE MEETING OF THE FIREMEN'S PENSION BOARD
