ADJOURNMENT August 16, 2012 Denis Law, Mayor Terri Briere, Council Finance Committee Chair (Substitute: Don Persson, Council Finance Committee Member) Bonnie Walton, City Clerk Ray Barilleaux, Fire Department Representative Bruce Phillips, Fire Department Representative Chuck Christensen, Fire Department Alternate The regular meeting of the Firemen's Pension Board was called to order by Acting Chairman Don Persson at 2:26 p.m. in the Mayor's Conference room, 7th floor of Renton City Hall. in attendance were Board members Don Persson, Ray Barilleaux and Bonnie Walton, and Finance Department representative, Jill Masunaga. MINUTES APPROVAL MOVED BY BARILLEAUX, SECONDED BY WALTON, THE PENSION BOARD APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE JULY 23, 2012 MEETING. CARRIED. MONTHLY STATEMENT The financial report for July 31, 2012, was reviewed. Total cash/investment balance was $4,360,876.61. Investments were discussed and it was noted that the last coupon will expire in 2025. MONTHLY BILLS AND PENSION PAYMENTS MOVED BY PERSSON, SECONDED BY WALTON, THE BOARD APPROVE THE PENSION/MEDICAL PAYMENTS FOR AUGUST 2012, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $17,233.61 TO BE PAID FROM THE FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND. CARRIED. NEW BUSINESS A suggestion was made to compile a listing of email addresses of each of the pensioners for potential communication purposes. Also, options for frequency of Board meetings was briefly discussed. No action was taken. ADJOURNMENT MOVED BY BARILLEAUX, SECONDED BY WALTON, THE MEETING OF THE FIREMEN'S PENSION BOARD BE ADJOURNED.
