T CT41P: 1 0 RIATION ,E Df PR P Urban VftfityGraz n r"O Grant P1 gram The purpose of this amendment is to amend theTirne of Performance Section for the 2:009-2011 Washington State Capital Budget Urban Vitality GranlContract,: UVO,9-99'1.097 This amendment was approved by the Public Works Board,a department of the State of Washington, (hereinafter referred to as the"Board'�. The Board found the extension was necessary for the following reason: ,Unpredictable weather,punch list items and the close out process are the reasons for the,delay and extension request. The Board and:City of Renton(hereinafierreferred to as the"Grantee')agree to amend the 2009-2011 Washington Mate Capital Budget Urban Vitality Grant Contract.. UV-09-951-,1)97 as described below- The Time of Performance Secfion of Grant Number UV09-9514197 is amended to delete the original section and -replace it with the following- The Grantee shall begin the activities ideiitifledvlvitliinAttacb.rwnll-. Segpeof Work no later than three (3)months after Grant agreement/contract execution,and reach project completion no later than 0-6/25/2014. Failure to perform within the time frame described in the preceding paragraph my constitute default of this agreement/contMetr. In the event of extenuating circumstances,the Grantee may request,in w niting, that the Board extend the deadline for project completion,. The Board may,by a two-thirds vote,extend the deadline. The term of this Grant agreement/contract shall be for the entire term of the grant,irrespective of actual project completion,unless terminated sooner as provided herein.
