Renton Presents Second Annual Multicultural Festival
RENTON, WA -- The City of Renton, in partnership with the Mayor’s Inclusion Task Force and several
local community groups and organizations, will present the second annual Renton Multicultural
Festival on September 22 and 23, 2017. The festival will feature local artists, music, dance, food and
activities.
Opening night Friday, September 22, will feature Performances through Art at the Carco Theatre from
7 to 10 p.m.
On Saturday, September 23, Renton comes alive with music, dance, art, food and stories from all over
the world. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in games and activities and other
multicultural experiences. Saturday’s events will start at 3 p.m. and run through 7 p.m. at both the
Renton Pavilion Event Center and adjacent Piazza Park in downtown Renton.
The Renton Multicultural Festival is a family friendly event and FREE to the public. More information
