ED73797 CASE# 23-7174 FC LNaoy L isI©�ON O 06/25/23 01:45 F cu NARRATIVE 23-7174 At about 0149 hours on 06/25/2023 1 was dispatched to an unknown injury accident at, 18822 108th Ave S, in the city of Renton, King County, Washington. Dispatch advised me that the reporting party heard the sound on an accident but did not have a visual of the accident. Vehicle information: Blue 1996 Chevy GMT-400 (LIC/C16491W) (VIN/1GCEK14R3TZ145905) Registered Owner: Ivan Avila-Armas (DOB 06/12/2001) M/ 5'8/ 140/ BRO. 11232 SE 222ND ST, Kent, WA, 98031. Upon my arrival I located the vehicle in the front yard of the house address above. The vehicle was facing south bound unoccupied, and the vehicle was off. The vehicle sustained severe damage and lost the rear drivers side wheel. One of the callers said they possibly saw the driver of the vehicle walking south bound on 108th Ave SE. The caller described the male she saw as a white male with no shirt and blue jeans, nothing further. An area check was done for that subject, but he was not located. That information was also given to Kent PD. The vehicle took out a wooden fence in front of 18814 108th Ave S before driving over the side yard that separates the houses before coming to a rest in front of 18822 108th Ave S. Based on tire tracks and where the damage to the vehicle and fence, it would appear that the vehicle was traveling south bound on 108th Ave S. While traveling south the vehicle veered off the roadway hitting the wooden fence on the east side of 108th Ave S. The vehicle continued through the fence and yard before coming to a stop likely due to it losing a rear wheel. No one witnessed the crash, reporting parties only heard the crash and no one in that area has any video cameras. No other vehicles were struck, and no other objects were struck other than the fence. No one can put a driver behind the wheel, so at this time it is unknown who was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. It should be noted that there were several beer cans outside the driver's side door of the vehicle as well as beer cans in the back bed of the truck. Pictures were taken of the vehicle and the damage to the fence. The vehicle was later towed and impounded by Gene Meyers. The owner of the house involved with the accident was not home at this time I was told by a neighbor. I provided the neighbor with my business card and case number so the owner could contact me. The neighbor advised me she would give it to the homeowner when he got home. This concludes my involvement with this case.
