SUBJECT: CONSTRUCTION MITIGATION DESCRIPTION
SW GRADY WAY OFFICE AND SHOP BUILDING
Dear Dan,
This letter is being written to satisfy the requirement for a Construction Mitigation Description for the
proposed construction of the SW Grady Way Office and Shop Building.
At this time, we anticipate construction will begin in the spring of 2024. The proposed hours of operation
for construction of the new building are 7am to 8pm, Monday through Friday. Work on Saturdays shall
be restricted to the hours between 9am and 8pm. No work shall be permitted on Sundays.
Proposed hauling/transportation routes for vehicles accessing the construction site will be limited to
existing driveway access from SW Grady Way, until such time that site work is complete; all disturbed
surfaces are stabilized; and the owner, engineer, and City Inspector provide written acceptance. For
continuation of work within building, it is expected that the work will be done by hand and the pathway
connection will be used.
The construction plans for the project site will identify temporary erosion and sediment control devices
to be installed prior to construction, and maintain until the site is accepted by the owner, engineer, and
City inspector. These measures will minimize the migration of sediment into private or public storm
drainage systems. Also, the contractor shall be required to sweep as necessary to prevent tracking
sediment onto the public streets.
