RE: Assignment of Contract# EMS3342 for Basic Life Support Services
Dear Chief Peterson:
King County is in receipt of the attached request to assign the above referenced contract for Basic Life
Support Services. To summarize, City of Renton Fire & Emergency Service Dept is no longer part of the
City of Renton and is now its own legal entity, as per the attached W-9 form.The City of Renton wishes to
assign its rights and obligations under Contract EMS3342 to Renton Regional Fire Authority. Renton
Regional Fire Authority hereby accepts all duties and obligations under Contract EMS3342.
Pursuant to Section XIII. A. of the Contract, Contractor is required to obtain County's written consent to
assign the Contract. This letter shall serve as mutual consent to assign the Contract to Renton Regional
Fire Authority.
IN WITNESS HEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this assignment to be executed and
instituted effective July, 1 st 2016.
