ADDENDUM No. 4
Date of Addendum Issue: October 17, 2023
Due Date for Bids: 2:00 pm on October 20, 2023
To: ALL PLAN HOLDERS AND/OR PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS
The following changes, additions, and/or deletions are hereby made a part of the project bid
documents for the Monroe Ave NE Infiltration Facility Project and shall have the same effect
as if set forth therein. Bidders shall acknowledge receipt and acceptance of this Addendum
No. 4 by signing the addendum and submitting with the bid. Failure to acknowledge receipt
of this addendum may result in your bid proposal being disqualified.
05 – Call for Bids
DELETE Addendum No. 3 Call for Bids (05 Call for Bids_Add3) and REPLACE with the updated
attached document (05 Call for Bids _Add4). Revisions to the Call for Bids are indicated via
track changes in the document and are included with this Addendum.
Updates include the following:
1. Submittal Deadline is revised from “2:00PM, October 17th, 2023” to “2:00PM, October
20th, 2023” as shown below:

Bid Submission Process:
Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., TuesdayFriday, October 2017, 2023, at the lobby of Renton
City Hall, 1055 South Grady Way, Renton WA 98057. No mailed, Fedex, or UPS delivered will be
accepted. Sealed bids will be opened and publicly read via the Zoom video-conferencing web
application at 3:00 p.m., TuesdayFriday, October 2017, 2023 (60 minutes after published bid submittal
time). Any bids received after the published bid submittal time cannot be considered and will not be
accepted.

20 – Special Provisions
DELETE Addendum No. 3 special provisions (20 Special Provisions_Add3) and REPLACE with
the updated attached provisions (20 Special Provisions _Add4). The special provisions
revisions are indicated via track changes in the document and included with this Addendum.
Updates include the following:
1. The first bullet of Section 7-05.2 of the Special Provisions in the current bid set has been
revised as follows:
General
· Meet the Have Ecology General Use Level Designation (GULD) certification
for Enhanced Water Quality Treatment.
2. The second bullet of Section 7-05.2 of the Special Provisions in the current bid set has
been revised as follows:
General
· Shall be sized to meet Ecology Enhanced Water Quality Treatment
requirements at a minimum Water Quality Flow Rate listed below.
3. The third sentence of Section 7-05.3(8) of the Special Provisions in the current bid set has
been revised as follows:
The Hydrodynamic Separator Vault must meet have the Washington State
Department of Ecology TAPE GULD certification for pretreatment for the online WQ
flowrate of 22.6cfs and offline WQ flowrate of 12.6cfs.
