Dear Neighbor,
You are invited to participate in a neighborhood meeting on Wednesday,
July 5, 2023. Please come to hear a presentation for a proposed development at
511 Airport Way, Renton Washington, in person or participate via internet. At this
meeting we will discuss the proposed development and solicit comments from the
neighborhood.
The intent of this meeting is to facilitate an informal discussion between the project
developer and the neighbors regarding the project. While required by the City of Renton,
this meeting is not conducted by the City of Renton and is in addition to any future public
hearing or public comment opportunities available under City of Renton development
review processes. Attendees may identify any issues they believe should be addressed in
the application and recommend those issues be submitted for City consideration and
analysis.
Meeting Information:
Site Description: 511 Airport Way, Renton Washington. The total site area 0.75 acres is
split zoned with majority (10,621 SF) in the CA (Commercial Arterial) zone and 3,542 SF in
the CD (Center Downtown) zone.
Project Description:
A 5-story mixed use residential building with approximately 30 units with +/- 3200 sf
commercial retail space at grade and 38 structured parking stalls is proposed for the site
located at 511 Airport Way.

Is it going to be an apartment building or Condo?
Ans: Apartment building
What is the approximate timeline?
Ans: 1yr to start construction.
Is the building 5 story?
Ans: Yes, 2 story of parking and 3 story residential development.
Jamie Dawson runs a therapy business and wanted to be kept informed about the progress and when
construction is going to start will like to be notified about the construction hours and road closures on
Logan Ave.

Is it out of airport height restriction cone?
Ans: Yes are under the height restriction per city code.
On the south side of the property is there any landscaping proposed to reduce noise coming from the
development towards W.Tillicum Street?
Ans: Current plans do not show any landscaping on Tillicum but we will add some area. A construction
mitigation plan will be provided with measures to reduce noise. We don’t anticipate noise from apartment
building .
Neighbors who attended seemed excited about the development and were going to share the details
with their fellow neighbors.
Attendees were very excited about the upcoming new development, hoping it will bring in more business
to their place of work.
They were also happy about the frontage improvements that will add security in the neighborhood, make
and their surrounding more walkable and pedestrian friendly zone.
They asked to be kept in the loop via email on construction updates and timelines.
